Well a lot's changed since I was last on here!

My poor blog, I didn't realise its been so long since I made a post.

2012 ended up being a very hard year & due to several things that happened I had my depression come back worse than ever. However I did decide that this plus size thing had gone on long enough & I had to get fit & healthy. So that's what I did! It took me one year of healthy eating & walking & hiking & I dropped 65 kg - I surpassed my old weight I was aiming to get back to & am now the healthiest & fittest I've ever been.

The other exciting thing that happened is in 2014 we travelled to Europe for the first time & as it was our 15th Wedding anniversary, we renewed our vows in Paris - most amazing day ever!

Back to the Blog!

So I'm back, I know it's been a long time between post's but I was having a very rough time with IVF etc.... blogging about it was too painful & the other things I liked to blog about just didn't seem that important when it felt like the whole world was caving in. Some day's just getting out of bed was hard & I did my best to just get by........

When I set up this blog I made it a public blog & posted photo's & used my actual name etc....  IVF was & still is such a big part of my life that I decided to dedicate a blog just to it but be nameless, so I could say anything I wanted & not care who read it. Writing that blog dedicated to trying to start a family was very cathartic & helped me get so much off my mind.

I've been on a much needed break from the fertility roller coaster as I just physically & emotionally couldn't take anymore. In the past month or so I have started to feel normal again & like I am regaining little pieces of me that got lost in the past few years.
So I wanted to breathe some life into this blog and post about things I love (jewellery, music, fashion, beauty, movies etc.....) when the mood strikes.

I have nothing exciting or earth shattering to post, just my opinions & experiences on the things I mentioned above & my life in general.

I have not ABONDONED my blog.....

I have not abondoned this blog, I have missed it greatly.  Unfortunately the past few weeks have been a bit of a nightmare for me.

I had complications after surgey which resulted in 2 hospital stays and another surgery.  I will detail it all here shortly as it is all related to the ivf journey.

 Hopefully things will now get back to normal.......
