So far this has been a hectic week. We got to move back into our house on Tuesday and have been constantly unpacking and trying to set the living room and office up again. I can not believe we have so much stuff and I do not where we used to put it all. I did a huge throw away when I was packing up and have done some more whilst unpacking. On the plus side it has been a good chance to re-arrange things and get them just perfect.
A few other things to update & share with you.
After the bad service and experience we had at Twin Waters, Leigh decided to pen a letter and let them know what happened and why we would not being returning in future. We both are not the sort of people to make complaints but Leigh was quite upset that so many things went wrong on our first trip away in years. 2 days after mailing the letter he received a call from the head of Accor. Apologies were made and he said he had flown up to Twin Waters himself to investigate and make sure several of the staff received training. He also invited us back to the resort as his guest, he wanted us to experience the same package but with the room upgraded to a lagoon suite. After much reassurance we would find things much better this time, Leigh booked us in for the week of our anniversary in May.
Kedron -Wavell, the club were I was attacked by the woman smashing a glass in my back at the Belinda Carlisle concert are not doing anything. I sent a written report of what happened to the operations manager including the fact that security did not even take our names or any kind of report on the evening. I have had to chase this man up for a response and he pretty much just wants me to go away. He has been extremely rude and pretty much called me a liar stating security were there and no such incident happened. I wrote in the hope that they would like into providing better security and also into removing glassware from the showroom. I would have been happy with some type of commitment from him to look into these issues and at the least offer me an apology.
Feeling like I was getting nowhere I did some research and found out that if an incident like this happens on a premises & is reported to liqour & gaming an investigation takes place and they could be classed as a high risk venue (one incident is enough for somewhere to classify as high risk). The result of this is having to remove glassware. I made contact with them and have reported the incident and I have been advised an investigation is underway. I really hope something is done as I would not like anyone else to experience what I did.
